If your 4 or 5-year-old has been unable to attend preschool over the last couple of months, you may be concerned that they are missing out on developing some of the key skills needed to start school. Starting kindergarten is a new adventure for you and your child.  It is important that they are excited and proud to walk through the classroom door, ready to take their place in the ‘big kids’ school.

The Catholic Schools Office of Broken Bay has developed a range of resources featuring some helpful tips to assist you in preparing your child at home for kindergarten. Our Getting Ready booklet outlines a range of learning tools, each supported by an educational video, that will assist in helping to develop the necessary skills in your child to ensure a successful start to their schooling. To see our school readiness video tools please click here.

Receive your FREE getting ready bag including booklet and other fun activities during Kindergarten Orientation.

If your child is ready for school, we’d love to welcome you to take a look around MacKillop Catholic College, a popular school choice for local families. Take a virtual tour of our campus now, or call us to book a school tour guided by our Primary Principal, Mr Frank Cohen.
