School portraits done for the year
Thanks to Newcastle School Portraits, another year of school portraits were successfully taken across three days between Monday 4 June and Wednesday 6 June.
We wish to thank our parents and the students for the way in which they all presented themselves in full College uniform. The students looked very smart with their uniforms worn correctly and I am sure that the photographs will be a lovely memory of the 2018 academic year for our families. As always our students were polite to the photographers and complied with all instructions and requests on the day. It was lovely to see them supporting each other with adjusting ties, blazers, collars and jewellery so that each person was able to have a photograph that they were happy with. Our administration staff as always, were very supportive of the process on Monday and the photographers were very professional with their process and helped students to relax making it a bit of fun for them – Mrs Mel McGuinness, Secondary Assistant Principal.
As you can imagine, it is quite a challenge to round up 550 children and get them photographed within a day. However, our children managed themselves so well that the photographers actually finished early! Well done, boys and girls. A big thank you to the photographer, Peter and the Newcastle School Portraits team, who always manage to make the children smile with an array of jokes, and to our office staff who ensured the day ran like a well-oiled machine. I am sure that the photographs will be superb and a lasting memory of the 2018 school year – Mrs Ann Jackson, Primary Principal.
