I didn’t think that a celebration of the end to catholic schooling could be any better than last year but I am compelled to write and express our gratitude for the beautiful celebration this week. The Year 12 farewell Mass on Wednesday was so beautiful and yet again we are so grateful to the staff at MCC for the efforts and time and energy put into this. The music and singing was divine.
It was very important to my husband and I to find a High School that provided; support, development, social growth, a solid academic platform and teachers that really love teaching. Mackillop Catholic College was an obvious and personal choice for our daughter. She has flourished over the last few years and for this we are very grateful to all the staff.
We chose MacKillop for our children as we wanted them to attend a Catholic school where, as well as a good education, they learn positive values. We like that the MCC community is welcoming. Being a large school it offers the children a lot of opportunities, such as music, band, choir, Japanese, and numerous lunch time activities like chess, sport, lego, gardening, drama and others. To anyone considering MCC, it is a great school – just visit an Open Day or book a school tour to have a look.

Our children are experiencing the benefits of being immersed in a holistic educational environment. One that nurtures them intellectually, emotionally and spiritually, in line with our own ethical and moral beliefs. Over the years my daughter has thanked me on several occasions for choosing this school for her. We are spoiled by the exceptional calibre of the teaching staff here, and their fundamental interest in our children’s wellbeing. If your family comes to MacKillop prepared to work in partnership with the school community, your efforts will be rewarded tenfold.
