Wellbeing ‘honour each other’

At MacKillop Catholic College, student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Guided by our core values of Compassion and Justice, we foster a supportive and inclusive environment where every student is known, valued and encouraged to thrive. Through strong partnerships between students, families, staff and the wider community, we help young people develop confidence, resilience and respectful relationships as they navigate their K – 12 educational journey.

Wellbeing Resources

Student Brochures: It’s OK to Speak Up

We encourage all students to feel safe, supported and empowered to speak up when they have a concern. Our It’s OK to Speak Up resources provide guidance on how students can raise concerns and access support, helping them advocate for themselves and their wellbeing with confidence.

Online Safety and Digital Wellbeing

Supporting young people in the digital world is an important part of student wellbeing. We encourage families to explore Safe on Social Media, a trusted resource offering practical tips and advice on online safety, social media and digital wellbeing. The website provides up-to-date information to help families have informed conversations and support positive online habits at home

Safeguarding

At Catholic Schools Broken Bay and MacKillop Catholic College, the safety and wellbeing of every student is our highest priority. Safeguarding is a shared commitment between staff, families and the wider community to create and maintain safe, supportive environments where all children can thrive. Through proactive practices, clear accountability and a strong culture of care, we work to ensure every student feels safe, respected and valued.
